Episode 3 Recap: 1980s Happy Meal Toys

In the 80s and 90s, all my friends and I loved McDonald‘s; or for that matter all kids ever. The Happy Meal has been a marketing juggernaut for the fast food chain for a long time and continues to be to this day. The fact that it’s a menu item geared towards kids and includes a toy makes it the holy grail of lunch and supper options for kids the world over.

In episode 3, I discussed some of the popular series of toys offered in the Happy Meal and how they resonate for us who grew up with them all these years later. McDonald’s Happy Meal is an American Classic and the toys from the 80s were epic!
